Liquid Boron™ Preservative System

Timber treated with Liquid Boron™ is suited to interior construction such as wall framing, floor joists, rafters, panelling and flooring.

Liquid Boron provides protection against insect attack when used at the recomended retentions, out of ground contact and protected from moisture by roof or walls. Wood treated with Liquid Boron should not be used in weather exposed situations, unless coated by a well maintained paint system in Hazard Class H3.1 applications.

EXPOSURE: Protected from the weather, above ground, but with a possibility of exposure to moisture.
CONDITIONS: Protected from the weather, but with a risk of moisture content conducive to decay.
BIOLOGICAL HAZARD: Borers, decay.
TYPICAL USES: Wall framing - see NZS3602.

H3.1 APPROVED
EXPOSURE: Exposed to the weather, above ground.
CONDITIONS: Periodic wetting, not in contact with the ground.
BIOLOGICAL HAZARD: Decay fungi and borers.
TYPICAL USES: Cladding, fascia, joinery - see NZS3602.
